Pharmaceutech was founded by Abimbola, a pharmaceutical scientist and data scientist with over eight years of hands-on experience across healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. She holds a BSc in Pharmaceutical Science and an MSc in Data Science, and has worked everywhere from community pharmacy, where she dispensed opioids and saw the realities of addiction up close, to medical information and operational lead roles supporting major global pharma sponsors. Abimbola has built dashboards, data pipelines and decision-support tools, but her real drive is using that skillset to protect vulnerable patients, not just optimise processes on paper. Coming from a less privileged background and communities heavily affected by addiction and inequality, she understands both the human cost of overdose and the systemic gaps in care. She has already been recognised with a Pharmaceutical Entrepreneur Award for her ability to blend scientific thinking with commercial vision. Through Pharmaceutech and its flagship product, OpiBud, Abimbola is channelling her clinical insight, technical training and lived experience into a single goal: creating intelligent med-tech that saves lives, advances research and gives people in recovery a safer, more dignified future.
